honestly, it comes down to how the whole system is set up. When a model is escrowed, it’s basically locked behind encryption and compiled in a way that makes it unreadable. To unescrow it, you have to go through a whole process of breaking it down and rebuilding it so it actually works again. first, the model files have to be decompiled, which means turning them from a protected format back into something editable. But it’s not as simple as just opening a program and clicking “decrypt.” FiveM’s system ties everything to unique hash values, which have to be checked and matched to make sure the files aren’t broken. This part alone takes a while because it’s comparing a ton of data especially if youre doing multiple assets/models at a time then, after decompiling, the model has to be rebuilt, which includes fixing textures, checking if the bones (for rigged models) still align properly, and making sure the game won’t just crash when you try to load it. A lot of times, things don’t match up perfectly, so you have to manually go through and fix errors, which adds even more time it all of this together makes the process take hours, even if you know what you’re doing. its easy to do, even got the chp cars to work even tho they are Alex's its a simple line of code in the file, you need either a paid or freeware full file viewer including the bytecode.
