you're welcome, i have everything from ydrop server. i'm just testing it all. that includes cars from vanillaworks and others. i have put up about 7/8 so far today so check the others. i'll upload a few more shortly

Hello Im part of the Ydrop Server team and I created an account here to try get in touch with you. Im looking for a diplomatic resolution to the issue you just put me and my team in by leaking these files.

The ydrop server has always run on donated assets and the trust of our users, we never asked for a cent from our players and never wished ill on anyone in the community, I'd like to know your reasoning for doing this and kindly ask you to stop leaking our files effective inmediately.

Please reply to me so we can find a peaceful solution. I know that taking legal action will do little to stop you since you already have the files in your hardrive and taken whatever you wanted from us. 

I await your response.

You always could ask nicely for them, its called asking for permission.
The server is public, you can literally log in and enjoy the cars.

But no lets scrape the chache while playing, repack and reupload stuff you dont own without the consent of the creators.

dont ask for a bandaid when you get cut with all that edge.

These cars been around for many years and been held behind the VW gatekeep, you think people never ask for them respectfully for personal use just to get laughed off? Come on gang, you know the community you're on.

Ydrop is not VW.

We dont bully creators nor users into not sharing their work, or laugh off people asking for cars they are interested in, whenever I get asked for an asset or vehicle I try to provide within possibilty because newsflash, creators shy away from uploading because they get bullied on 5mods bc of every little thing and get their stuff leaked anyway because its more fun, more exciting to go to some shady site and download stuff ripped straight from the source. Forgive me for trying to appeal to common sense and basic moral.

So instead they prefer sharing between friends and insiders they know and trust they wont leak unfinished stuff. Thats how we got most of the "exclusive" cars for the server, because we earned the trust of creators, not that it matters to the folks here.

You want something in particular? You had the chance to go and ask nicely for it, you could have been lucky and got what you were looking for maybe even get to talk to the creator itself.

I'm not even gonna lie to you, I'm being an asshole based on my feelings towards VW but I don't really care about these politics that much, I'm just a nigga that wanna drive some fly whips, not into FiveM so having these files for SP is really nice.

I see your point of view, shit sucks and all. But to me as just an end user who isn't part of the circles, it also sucked seeing all this content being out of reach while also being rubbed in my face by the people who are in the circles.

And a lot of us are in this limbo, no we aren't leaking shit because it's fun to do bad shit, I mean some are but a lot of us are just players that wanna enjoy content that is straight inaccessible for whatever reason.

I see your point too but this is not the way. I have too seen the cool stuff out of reach because it wasnt public, had to respect the authors when told no. Most creators dont release stuff because they dont feel ready for sharing (for some reason or the other they feel their mod is incomplete) or get traumatized because all their work gets ripped and shows up on some paid modpack, thats the reason creators like BB20 dont upload anymore btw.

The only consolation i get from all this is that its a free download. Still wrong tho.
