Ferrari 296 Speciale new texture 4k 1.0.0

   (1 review)

About This File

The following was replaced:
- Carbon fiber textures with 4k carbon fiber textures
- Wheel texture, which was black, is now silver (God forbid it looks like that horrible thing called an F80)
- Car audio system replaced with one that sounds more like a Ferrari V6. (Note: If you already have this system installed, mine has been modified and is slightly louder than the original)

Rgb color: 0-104-73

obs: Before you ask: the background map has been customized and I will not be making it available.

sorry but:  1) i don't see a real difference with your carbon textures    2) Black wheels looks better  3) Dials don't work with your version (it works perfectly with the original car   4) You've replaced sound by a v12 when it's a v6.

Last thing this car needed a handling, so that's what you should worked.

i'm used to reworked some cars (textures, handling, ....), and what you made was totally useless

Response from the author:

It's impossible you didn't notice the difference in the carbon textures. The originals are smooth, and the ones I added have a raised, textured look.

I didn't touch the gauges; they still work for me. And no, there isn't a Ferrari V6 yet, except for the 296 and the F80 (dyno?) at the moment, which is why there's no audio recording. Since V12 engines are made up of "two inline 6-cylinder engines," the sound of a V6 is very similar to that of a V12, and vice versa. In a good way, I thought a V12 sound made sense instead of a V8, or a V6 from another brand.

The term "V6 engines sounding similar to V12s" is so true that we have several comparisons of Volkswagen 5-cylinder engines that resemble the V10 from Audi and Lamborghini. (Resembles, not is the same, but is similar or evokes a memory).
As for handling, I made one that I didn't include in the files because I didn't try to make it realistic.
