There are collisions preventing me from entering inside.

Wow, awesome! This is much better than the previous Lighthouse I had. The problem is, I had to delete as_lh_bar_lamps01.ydr and as_lh_bar_lamps02.ydr because I was getting a texture flickering issue. How do I fix this?

In codewalker you have to right click on the .ydr file and in the information that comes up you have to find out what the parent .ytd is then put that .ytd in with the .ydr.

I'm on v.2372, could that be the issue?

Put a ytd in a ydr? Wow that is so fucking retarded. You can't put a ytd inside a ydr. What you likely meant is to take the textures from a ytd, which are dds files,  and embed those textures in the ydr which is a drawable asset.

It's not 2372 and it's not your imagination. The MLO is full of occulsions. You need to go into Codewalker, identify the occlusions/ymap. Then go into the those ymaps (in your mod folder), edit the ymap, and delete the occlusion(s) you found in Codewalker. Then save the ymap and you should be ok.

I don't know how to use code walker. Would this work with OpenIV?

All i have to do is leave a comment on this website and you come running to reply to me. Seems retarded to me.

That’s okay, guys. I’ve completely deleted the lamps that were flickering. I think it might be related to a missing YTD texture, like the lamp objects don’t know which texture to use.

Edited: This MLO doesn't have YTD, so I don't know anymore. 😄 😕

@John McLewis Wow, thanks. I learned something. Embedding texture into YDR.

Unfortunately it doesn't mean it will work. I don't have the flickering but i have the occlusion problems that I need to fix.
With respect to textures, ydr's with embedded textures are a pain in the ass because you can't simply replace the texture as you would with a ytd.
You need to export the ydr, change the texture, and then reimport it back...

The ymap editing is done in OpenIV or in CodeWalker's RPF Explorer. However you need to find the culprit first.
1. First you find the offending vanilla occlusion and its related ymap. Codewalker will give you the precise coordinates you need.
2. From OpenIV, using the mods version, not the vanilla game, you edit out the coordinate section you found in step 1.

I'm sure if you sure for "GTA 5 occlusions codewalker" on Google you'll find a tutorial. It's not complicated and will help you solve these issues in the first place.

I don't understand why some people have them, others don't, but it's very likely related to dlc. Actually I take back what i wrote earlier, given this required MP maps enabled it could be due to your game version. My first thought was nope, because I"m on a more current but reverted version. However I don't load most of the game's dlc since I don't play online at all. This might be why I have the occlusions while someone who loads all the R* DLC shit has no issues.

Yes, you are totally right. I just deleted them.

Different question. How do I remove the old building's YDR? Example: Vanilla Unicorn, Casino, and the Building near Santa Monica Pier (for OCEAN HOSPITAL MLO)?

They don't have collision, but I can still see the YDR and its texture.

You gave me hope, thanks man!
I tried this yesterday, but nothing happened. Maybe I did it wrong.
Any tips? Like, do I need to use something specific?

Yes, that’s what I’m using, and it works now. The first time didn’t work because I messed up generating the manifest properly. Thank you.

I’m still struggling with ORPHANHD, HD, LODs, and SLODs. I still have a lot to learn about them.
