@qwefadsfgav Sorry for the @ these are clean man and I hate to ask but I am a really big fan of the Custom Wodebody RX7, Custom 69 Fastback Mustang, and the Custom Widebody 1970 Boss 302 Mustang baddblood has is there anyway you can think about trying to get those I know there are quite a few others that would want some of those clean cars thanks anyways for these 7 you are a legend

because As for the DMCA it does not apply when the maker of these cars uses & distributes rockstar files (rpf, ytd etc formats belong to R*) especially selling them .. So essentially the DMCA would probably fuck them over worse & guaranteed R* has better attorneys then some sap maker crying to DMCA when he steals others cars just the same

Okay, call me crazy but isnt everything made for GTA Rockstar owned? Modifying or reselling any single piece of GTA is illegal but Rockstar and TakeTwo dont take legal action....well until the LibertyV and VIceCry mods were taken down right? Ever mod developer is committing illegal acts by proxy of being a modder. Now reselling these assets of gta (yes as long as it works in gta it holds gta assets) can warrant you a court case but again we gucci. Badblood wont win that court case and neither will the defendant man, you're more likely to get sued by TakeTwo/Rocktsar.

I don't know if Rockstar has stated that using their assets is illegal but I think it would only be illegal for the people that are using is for "commercial" use, or selling the models they explicitly made for the game.

I'll bite, modding is okay but non commetcial as stated so yes as you said selling mods is out of line and illegal yet the devs act like  it's their right to commercially profit from these things. They may argue that their assets are non gta (which is 100% codswallop) but it involves gta and as such commercial use of it would bite them in the ass were they to take the matter to court. Sadly TakeTwo might not give 2 shits if it doesnt directly involve them and in turn puts the gta mod community in a really worse place than it is now possibly causing an end to the free community/reasonable community.

I fear these are the final days of the free mod community and we can see that happening over on 5mods where we either get crumbs of something, overused FH4 models or a useful script that gets slim to no support.

Assetto Corsa mods are free to use as far as I'm concerned and they aren't hard to convert, it can take 2 hours minimum to complete a car and make it ready for use. That being said mods don't need to be paid if you arent paying for the raw material

I Brought Over 100 Vehicles from them but since closed My server down. Would These vehicles be mine to sell to recoup some of my lost outlay back ?

It's also against T.O.S. to make a profit selling the mods. Waste of money taking it to court, hes probably just saying that hoping to scare someone

Assetto Corsa has paid mods too. Any game that has a modding community has a community within that community that also sells mods. You really expect everyone that uses their free time to make mods to release them all for free? There's even games out there where if your mod is good enough, they'll whitelist and sell it for you. So Forza can sell their 3d assetts that they made from scratch but car devs can't sell the models that they make from scratch?
