i mean that's literally how it works though, especially for fivem servers. they don't want to pay because they don't know if the product is good or bad and if its good and they want to pay for the actual file and support the creator no harm in doing so. same with singleplayer mods and that they don't need there server being taken down (depending on the popularity)
