For the people wanting a walkthrough on how to block the .exe via the Firewall on Windows 10 and 11, Here: 🔒 Block a specific app (Photoshop, or anything else) from the internet This uses Windows Firewall outbound rules, which is the correct method. It doesn’t break anything, doesn’t require scripts, and doesn’t touch other apps. Outbound block rule (the important one) Stops the app from sending anything out — activation checks, telemetry, cloud calls. Open Windows Defender Firewall with Advanced Security Click Outbound Rules Click New Rule… Select Program Click Browse… and pick the app’s .exe Photoshop example: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop\Photoshop.exe Choose Block the connection Apply to Domain, Private, and Public Name it something like: Photoshop Internet Block That’s it. Photoshop will run normally, but it cannot touch the internet. 🔧 Optional: Block helper processes too Photoshop sometimes uses extra processes to phone home. If you want a perfect block, you can add rules for: AGMService.exe AdobeIPCBroker.exe CCXProcess.exe CoreSync.exe But blocking Photoshop.exe alone already stops most of its internet behaviour.
