C3 been a ripoff, crazy how he goes on about leakers when he himself is a leaker.

It's so messed up how there's all this hate and bashing on this site.  I'll be honest there are a lot of leaks that shouldn't have been leaked and quite a few that are really incredible.  I also understand that a lot of work goes into the development of these vehicles and mods, but the prices that I've seen charged for mods and vehicles is OUTRAGEOUS !!! The person or persons developing these vehicles or mods are sinking ZERO money into these vehicles or mods and making 100% profit.  Launcherleaks is great it gives people a chance to "test drive" a particular vehicle, vehicle pack or map to see if they like it.  But when people come on here ripping people apart for leaking vehicle packs they bought and not rented or leased is WRONG !!  If I purchase a ford mustang irl and I want to mod it or sell it to someone else, ford can't tell me no because that doesn't comply with their TOS because they can't put a TOS with a vehicle that I'm purchasing.  Same goes for any vehicle, vehicle pack or map mod. I purchase the item then the manufacturer forfeits all rights and responsibilities of ownership.   Which means the manufacturer can't put a TOS to something that was purchsed and they no longer own.   I know I'm going to get hate for this, but this is how real life works and when you finally experience this you'll agree that I'm right. 

this is an ice cold take that most people agree with. it follows the same principle as piracy. "copying" the files is not theft and the files become anyone's property upon downloading them.

looks awesome but it crashes my trainerv everytime I load in. Can spawn them through rage but then my trainer is gone for that game session. Any reason why (this is singleplayer btw)

TrainerV is currently outdated. It will crash regardless of whether this pack is installed or not.

Use addonvehiclespawner instead.

That may be the case however I've installed other packs and it works just fine as soon as I remove this one it crashes it. Haven't had this issue with any other mods from this site or lspdfr.

I'd go so far as to say:

1. Modding is supposed to be something you do out of passion and not for monetary benefit.

2. If you ARE doing it for monetary benefit, and you then cry about people not respecting rules and legality of distribution by leaking those packs, okay, let's talk the legality of distribution then: Why do you think Rockstar goes through the trouble of putting fictional vehicles into the game so that we have to install mods? Because they don't have the capacity or the budget to license real-life vehicles. You want to talk legality? Let's talk legality. Do YOU, the mod author, pay royalties to Ford/Chevy/Dodge for these mods? If not, stop complaining about the legality of distribution that you get to cherrypick and decide. If these companies want, they can steamroll you over within 24 hours, along with Rockstar for modding their vehicles in game without license. So if they don't mind overlooking your disrespect for legality of the issue, pay it forward. OR play by the rules and shut down your illegal business. You don't get to pick and choose.

I think you agree with me.  I do agree with You about paying royalties to Ford/Chevy/Dodge.  But the rules are plain and simple with respect to purchasing a product, THERE ARE NO TOS! Modding is supposed to be something done out of passion.  If I could mod I would NEVER charge anyone for the product i make because I would rather people be able to enjoy something that I don't put any money into, for free.  

Not gonna lie....Its not a single car manufacturer in the world that is going to come after game modders for importing or modding their vehicles into video games. The reason being is because its a form of brand marketing and literal FREE ADVERTISEMENT. In reality there is no greater compliment to a car maker than inclusion into a virtual environment. It creates visibility for the brand name and popular models. When is the last time you heard about Chevy, Ford, Dodge or any other car company whining about people using their cars in a game ?
